I highly doubt it will be received well...

That’s really not your problem. It’s just business.

Absolutely do not take the counter if they offer you one, even if it seems more lucrative.

Of note, it tickles me when the VTEC kicks in for the Pilot. There’s an appreciable difference and you can feel the surge of power. Very cool if I says so myself.

So back in the day VTEC was basically the secondary on your 4 barrel carb. It was normal at half throttle, then when you floored it the engine made more noise and the car went a bit faster. It was a big deal to have this feature on your car.

Same here, Odyssey. With the K&N I just dropped in, it almost sounds cool. My kids call it "putting on the rockets" and apparently it's something that mommy never does :D

That’s more or less where I stand. Its not personal, it’s just business.

The general consensus (and now I agree too) is that you don’t take the counter because they will be looking to replace you while you ‘fill in’.
For me, I took the counter and was treated very poorly afterward and hindered from upward movement.

They have a Mini and RR dealer as well so I may cross over to those in occasion as well.

Shouldn't have sold my pilot. Yeah it was boring as fuck, but it was an all around quality vehicle.

I need to replace the speakers and headliner in ours, but it is definitely a good car.
